"Environs" is a collection of new oil paintings by artist Christine Lashley. Her paintings are an ephemeral moment captured within a frame – a synthesis of the ambiance she has painted in person and the limitless creativity within her studio. From glittering pristine waterways to the glass reflections in cities, Lashley is fascinated how transparency and light can abstract a scene and transport the viewer to a new environment.
Artist's Talk (Christine will be at the gallery) 5-6pm 4/14/23
As featured in Plein Air Magazine April/May 2023 "Beyond Plein Air"
